Rise to the Challenge of the 2011 DOUGHMAN presented by Harris, Inc.!

DOUGHMAN 2011 RACERS!! The fourth annual DOUGHMAN is set for May 28, 2011. Race registration is SOLD OUTUnfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once tickets have been purchased. 

Thank you so much for the outpouring of support -- we have been overwhelmed by the demand to experience the great city of Durham and all of the culinary gems she has to offer.  For those of you who weren't able to get a spot, we hope that you'll consider volunteering, spectating and donating to our great causes, SEEDS and SeeSaw Studio.  We're also auctioning off a few spots on eBay.

For those of you lucky enough to have a horse in the race, we’re hoping your team can “Rise to the Challenge” to raise funds for our two charities.  This year we’ll be offering three – you read that right, THREE – different time bonuses based on the amount of money (above and beyond your $120 registration fee) you and your teammates raise.  There will be graduated benefits for teams raising $250, $500 and $1500.  The team that raises the most money for SEEDS and SeeSaw Studio will win the Grand Prize, so start thinking of ways your team can raise extra DOUGH!  Be sure to save your receipts for online donations and bring them with you to the start line; we will also accept cash and checks made out to either charity.

As a reminder, this year we are able to accommodate two non-meat eaters per team. Here is the leg breakdown by type of food: Vegan/vegetarian -- RUNNING; Vegetarian -- BIKING; Meat eaters -- RUNNING and SWIMMING (2 separate legs). All non-vegans should assume they are eating cheese and eggs. We cannot make any other food accommodations.

This is a team event and all teams must have four racers. Waivers are required for all participants prior to the start of the race. Please note that all teams must provide their own bike. Many local bike shops rent bikes in the area.

No racers under the age of 18 are allowed.
